While growing up, i had a lot of siblings and cousins around me all the time. There was about ten of us, both girls a boys but we would always play all different types of games and ride bikes and all. We all lived in the same building of apartments right next to each other, we were a big family. Once we all got a little older and started school things changed a little. The girls would play more barbie games and the boys were more into sports. So we all begun to divide ourself into girl's club and the boy's club. It got to the point were we would compete with each other in teams to find out who was the strongest team, either the girls or the boys. Of course the boys were little more clever than us and they would always win. All the girl's would do was play house and dolls but the boys always seemed to like ball games and jump from stairs. We all had a different mentality at that point, but we figured a way to still have fun with each other and play. So instead of dividing ourselves, we would play shark games,hide and seek or freeze tag. That would be some of the few games we would play together that would make us feel equal for both genders.
